From the tinkers of MIT Media Labs comes a green solution for crowded city travel. The idea is to have these folding electric scooters placed at busy transits that can be rented. These would be great for short errand runs, commuting, and just to get from point AtoB. Great idea … here’s a video.

According to the nightly news with Charles Gibson, GM is closing four of it’s SUV and truck plants due to sluggish sales of the gas guzzlers. I don’t know about you, but I dread going to the gas station for the yearly state inspection and emissions testing. It’s a big pain in the rear to wait 3hrs in line to get your car’s smog safety checked. I usually call ahead to double check the wait time, but that doesn’t guarantee anything. [...]
